A demon is an infernal spirit, typically born with a naturally evil nature. They are known to be sadistic and prey on the mortal realm if given the opportunity to interact with it. They are natural magic users, and so are known to use magic and curses on others.
In making this glossary, we understand that demonism is related to many of these ailments, but not exclusively. Both medical experts, and their patients, are strongly advised to understand when their ailments feature the characteristics of demonic forces and how that may impact their research and treatment. Much like how genetic anomalies can be varied, everyone - from weretypes, to the renimated, to those cursed by magic - is unique in how they should be approached.
We also advise the public at large to not be afraid of those with demonic symptoms. Gastenworth strives to be a safe community, so we take these demonic presences seriously - those with demonic ailments are not made to roam free if they pose a threat.
